Who we are
This website is operated by Sonnetech Ltd, trading as SOMAI, a private limited company registered in the Republic of Cyprus and based in Nicosia, Cyprus. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: info@somai-cy.com.
What we collect
Contact form. When you use the form we receive your name, work email, company, country, the option you select and your message. We use this only to reply to your enquiry and, if relevant, to discuss a possible business relationship.
Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider records technical data (IP address, browser type, date and time, page requested) to keep the site secure and working.
No cookies, no tracking. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or social-media trackers. Fonts are served from our own server, so your browser does not contact third parties when you visit.
Legal basis
We process enquiry data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and for our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). Server logs are processed for our legitimate interest in website security (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who receives your data
Your message is sent by email to our inbox. Our service providers process it on our behalf under data-processing terms: GoDaddy (website hosting) and Google (Google Workspace email). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
The website itself stores no form submissions. Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and deleted within 24 months of our last contact unless we must keep them longer by law. To prevent abuse, the form keeps an anonymised, salted hash of your IP address for one hour.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, or a copy of your data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email info@somai-cy.com. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy) or to the authority in your own EU country.
Please don't send confidential information
Do not send confidential, classified or export-controlled information through the contact form. We exchange detailed technical information only under a confidentiality agreement.

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version.
